Who we are↗

The Mother Lode Food Project in Tuolumne county is a non-stop food donor drive modeled after the Ashland Food Project. Our goal is to ensure that our neighbors-in-need have a year round supply of food, not just during the holidays. All food stays local!

How it works ↗

  1. Each week, buy just one extra non-perishable food item when you go shopping.
  2. Store it in our Green Bag
  3. Every other month we’ll help you get the bag to the ATCAA Food Bank! There are drop-off locations all over Tuolumne County, and in some neighborhoods you can just leave your bag on your front porch!

Results

Our system really works! As of December 2022 we have donated a total of over 193,000 lbs of food and over $12,000 in cash to the ATCAA Food Bank for distribution to food pantries throughout Tuolumne County.
